When a user purchases a Stardock product, they receive a serial number. With that serial number, they can enter it in and it will automatically determine which Stardock programs they have access to.

Over the years, Stardock has created a large community of users from around the world. On-line communities have many benefits such as peer help, trouble shooting, as well as just having other like minded people to talk to.

Stardock's web based message board systems are integrated into Stardock Central in such a way that users can quickly and painless switch between them to find conversations that are relevant to their interests. This helps build the Stardock communities as well as cuts dramatically down on technical support issues.

The latest software news is only a click or two away.

Users can easily archive their installations for later use. If a new version of a given program doesn't meet their needs, they can instantly switch back to a previous addition.

Stardock Central is smart enough to only download the pieces that the user needs keeping download sizes very small.

Stardock Central provides a clean, consistent way of seeing what is new in a software update. On the left side where the user downloads, a "history" link is provided.
